Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced Friday that a Cheektowaga man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for beating his wife to death in 2019.

Submitted by the U.S. Attorney's Office, Western District of New York, Public Affairs Office. U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced Tyler Collins, 27, of Buffalo, who was convicted of assaulting a federal officer and causing a bodily injury, was sentenced to time served (approximately nine months) and three years’ supervised release by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.

Additionally, Bruscia is pending sentencing on two other misdemeanor charges.

“Shoplifting is not a victimless crime," said Erie County DA John Flynn in a release.

The theft was uncovered after the organization's bank account was overdrawn.

BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in finding 15-year-old Brandon Miller Jr. The teenager, a black male, is approximately 5’5″, 140 pounds, with a medium complexion and a low haircut. He is known to frequent the Coit, Lovejoy, and Williams Street areas in Buffalo. Anyone with information regarding Miller Jr.’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. BUFFALO, NY – On Monday, the Buffalo Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to a homicide that occurred on the 800 block of Bailey Avenue on April 2, 2023. Around 2:30 a.m., South District officers had responded to a shooting call at the mentioned location.
