Manhunt underway for Okeechobee Co. coach accused of with having sex with a student

A manhunt is underway for an Okeechobee County teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

The only reason this teacher and coach isn’t already behind bars is because of a Florida Sheriff’s Deputy, who also happens to be the suspect's lifelong friend and warned him the cops were coming.

Man's body found floating in Intracoastal Waterway identified

A man whose body was found floating in the Intracoastal Waterway was identified, the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBD) says.

According to WPBPD, Jon Lejiste, 32, of Greenacres was reported missing over the weekend by his family to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO).

New details in a murder-suicide in Port St. Lucie reveal the 26-year-old teacher from Martin County was stabbed to death.

Father of two daughters dies after intentionally crashing car with family inside

A husband and father of two daughters reportedly caused a crash with his family in the car on Florida's Turnpike Monday morning and died from his injuries Tuesday.

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said the 57-year-old husband and father jerked the steering wheel of the family's 2016 red Nissan Murano while his 56-year-old wife was driving. Their two daughters, 23 and 15, were also in the vehicle.

This happened around 9:15 a.m. near mile marker (MM) 105 in Palm Beach County.
