Sulphur toddler welcomed home after a month in burn unit
SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - A Sulphur boy and his mom were welcomed home from the hospital after they were burned in a trash fire accident. A little fun was exactly what the doctor ordered for Hailey Brock, 21, and Kayson, 2. They have been in a burn unit in Lafayette since Feb. 22, when an aerosol can thrown into a burn pit exploded, catching Kayson’s jacket on fire and leaving the young mother with serious burns from fighting to save her son’s life.
