West Fairlee woman faces charges for threats, false 911 calls
WEST FAIRLEE — A local woman was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly making threats and placing multiple false 911 calls, according to Vermont State Police. Heather Whipple, 31, of West Fairlee, was taken into custody at 7:45 a.m. after authorities responded to reports of criminal threatening and disorderly conduct through electronic means.

Two injured in Bradford crash near I-91 exit
BRADFORD — Two individuals sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Waits River Road near the I-91 Exit 16 off ramp around 11:55 a.m. on May 14. James White, 76, of Barton, was driving a 2011 Buick LaCrosse when he stopped at the off ramp and pulled out in front of a westbound 2023 Toyota Camry driven by Deborah Gundry, 60, of Topsham.
