West Mifflin McDonald's store heavily damaged in crash
WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. (KDKA) -- The McDonald's along Lebanon Church Boulevard in West Mifflin was heavily damaged by a late-night crash.The crash happened just before midnight on Sunday and the Skyview Volunteer Fire Company says that the car lost control and went airborne before slamming into the building. The front of the building had a broken window and a bent frame, along with some bricks that were knocked loose during the crash.The driver of the car was taken to a local trauma center. The extent of their injuries are unclear.

A car rolled onto its side after a multi-vehicle crash in McCandless. Allegheny County dispatchers say police officers, firefighters and medics were called to the intersection of E Ingomar Road and Kummer Road at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday. One car was resting on its passenger side. A hole appeared to have been cut through its shattered windshield and the airbags had been deployed. Emergency crews were also working on a nearby vehicle that sustained heavy damage to its front. Parts of the vehicle were on the road.

The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office accused her of violating a gag order in the case of the shooting death of McKeesport Police Officer Sean Sluganski. The office accused her of setting up a fundraiser for her son's defense.Candace Tyler is the mother of Johnathan Morris, who is charged in Sluganski's death in February 2023. A man on the run from drug charges in Pittsburgh has been caught just as officials acknowledged that the “fentanyl” he was supposedly carrying was not a drug at all. WPXI-TV reported that Yan Carlos Pichardo Cepeda, 28, was arrested in his hometown of New York City last week during a routine traffic stop.
Pittsburgh man dies in Parkway East crash
A man from Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood was killed early Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash along the Parkway East in Penn Hills, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said. Michael Ernest Buyna, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene at about 1 a.m. Saturday, the medical examiner said.

Charges dropped against seven people charged with breaking into abandoned Century III Mall
WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA) - Seven people who were charged with breaking into the abandoned Century III Mall last month will now see their charges dropped. Six men and one woman were all taken into custody on March 12 after police said they were caught trespassing inside the mall. According to court records, all charges against the seven people have now been dropped.Their arrest came amid a couple of different incidents when people broke into the mall.
