Troopers Investigate West Mead Township Storage Unit Break-ins
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating several storage unit break-ins at a West Mead Township facility.
It happened between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. Monday at West Mead Self-Storage in the 19300 block of Cochranton Rd.
Surveillance video showed two men entering the property, tampering with security and breaking into three storage units, troopers said.
A suspect reportedly stole about $895 worth of power tools.
The suspects dropped a glove and black welding mask, used during the break-in, while leaving, according to state police who said they collected the items for evidence.
