West Bend, WI – There is a gem of a facility in West Bend, Wi that often times is overlooked. The West Bend Driving Range has melted into the fabric of the community. Surrounded by mature trees on the south side County Highway D just across from Lighthouse Lane, it is one of those places people say, “We’ve got to stop there some day.” And it seems ‘someday’ never comes.

SLINGER, Wis. — Five-time ASA Midwest Tour champion Ty Majeski continued adding victories to his impressive short-track racing résumé. The three-time Slinger Nationals winner added another checkered flag at the historic Slinger Super Speedway on Sunday afternoon by winning the Jerry “Bear” Priesgen Memorial presented by Zuern Building 100.
Girls track and field: Oregon’s Bizzy Vieaux vaults to championship at Spartan Invite
Oregon’s Bizzy Vieaux finished first place in the pole vault at the Spartan Invitational on Friday, April 19, at West Bend West High School. Vieaux cleared 9 feet and was one of 11 top six finishers for the Panthers. Oregon senior Anna Johnson took second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.02 seconds. She added a sixth-place finish in the 300 hurdles (54.27). The Panthers’ 800 relay team took second (1:52.0), just behind West Bend West’s winning time of 1:48.76. In the 400 relay, Oregon finished third (52.38).
