Cherokee Nation Gadugi Portal Call Center honored as ‘Outstanding Employer’
TAHLEQUAH – The Cherokee Nation Gadugi Portal Call Center is being honored as “Outstanding Employer” by the Native American Employment and Training Conference. The Gadugi Portal Call Center team currently consists of five full-time staff members and 15 temporary staff gaining work experience through Cherokee Nation Career Services. The call center has provided temporary employment to more than 60 Cherokee citizens since its inception, helping them to learn important on-the-job skills.

Muskogee man dies after Carter County car crash
WILSON, Okla. (KXII) - A Muskogee man has died after a crash Sunday morning near Wilson. The 40-year-old driver, Adam Cunningham, was driving north on State Highway 76 near Faith Hill Road when he drove left off the highway for 150 feet, according to a teletype from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Noble eliminated by Tahlequah in 5-2 loss
Noble couldn’t overcome a slow day at the plate and were eliminated from the Class 5A state playoffs with a 5-2 loss to Tahlequah.
