Sunday has essentially been a repeat of Saturday across the Valley , as this slow-moving system drifts eastward. The warm front still draped to our west has sparked some showers and storms across SW PA but those should fizzle this evening before getting into the area. Overnight, the light wind and saturated ground make for patchy dense fog. It's an IMPACT NIGHT so be sure to travel carefully into early Monday. Lows stay mild with the clouds too, only dipping into the middle and upper 50s. The cold frontal boundary looks to slide in Monday afternoon into the evening, keeping the threat of a few showers and storms around. An upper-level disturbance will also aid in any storm development during the evening. At least we'll see some peeks of sunshine with the help of that westerly breeze. Highs look to rise back into the mid-70s ahead of this boundary. Our next system arrives on Tuesday with this cold front stalling out, then pushing back north as a warm front. That'll bring a boost in temps along with a reinvigorated threat for a few showers and storms. Highs look to climb back into the middle and upper 70s along with stickier conditions. On Wednesday, we'll be in the warm sector leading to more instability and fuel for storms. The trailing cold front along with a surface boundary ahead of it lead to more showers and storms. A few could turn stronger which is something the Storm Team will be watching. Another storm system approaches Thursday into Friday, keeping the chance for showers and storms in the forecast. Each day isn't looking like a washout but if you have outdoor plans, you'll want to stay tuned for our latest forecasts. The cold front swings through late Thursday into Friday ushering in a cooler airmass to end the workweek. Highs dip back below normal, topping out in the upper 60s Friday. Even cooler air sinks in for next weekend, with afternoon readings back in the mid-60s Saturday along with the potential for showers. The upper wave continues to work eastbound into Mother's Day, with spotty showers possible. Upper ridging develops into early the following week leading to more seasonable conditions. Temps look to rise back into the lower to middle 70s under a mix of clouds and sun.
