This makes absolutely no sense. Why would you close every school in Bayou Black instead of combining the schools in the Bayou Black area? These children are being bussed all over surrounding areas now, with very long bus rides. Not to mention, now there are no schools in Bayou Black. That surely won't get people to move there when there is no school. Did anybody who is making these decisions think about what it might do to property values in that area? Another example of the many stupid things parish officials do.
