Senate Democrats expected to force vote on IVF access
Iowa Republican Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks is introducing a bill to give couples or individuals undergoing IVF a $30,000 tax credit. Miller-Meeks says she was encouraged to introduce the plan after former President Donald Trump announced he wants to make the treatment free. Democrats on Capitol Hill are not buying the GOP`s IVF push. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer suggests he may put the issue to test by bringing legislation to the floor.

The Extra Point Player of the Week, Week Two: Alvin Henderson – Elba Tigers
LBA, Ala (WDHN) — Alvin Henderson is the Extra Point Player of the Week for his week two performance against McKenzie. Henderson rushed for 441 yards and nine touchdowns in the Tigers’ 80-78 four-overtime loss to McKenzie. He also rushed for three 3-point conversions, putting up 60 points in the game.
