Juvenile injured after argument between adults leads to shots fired in Walterboro: Deputies

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Colleton County are investigating a Sunday evening shooting that left a juvenile injured.

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on Buffalo Lane.

Witnesses told detectives that an argument between adults resulted in shots being fired. A bullet entered the home and struck a juvenile who was inside.

The juvenile was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officials say a suspect has been identified and detectives are working to locate the man. Details about the suspect’s identity were not immediately available.
