    Three arrested for alleged retail theft at Walmart

    HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report that four people were arrested after being accused of retail thefts at a Walmart in Luzerne County.

    According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers responded to Walmart in Hazle Township for separate retail theft incidents throughout September.

    On September 5 around 9:30 p.m., troopers responded to a theft where a 38-year-old woman from Hazleton, stole $128.99 worth of food and medicine from Walmart

    Then, two days later on September 7 around 1:50 p.m., police said a 21-year-old woman stole $273.99 worth of merchandise. Troopers noted the woman was also found with a fake New York driver’s license. She was taken to the Luzerne County Prison after not posting bail.

    Lastly, on September 8 around 5:30 p.m., state police say a 21-year-old man stole $96.02 of food items from Walmart.

    All three people from Hazleton have been charged through the district court.

    I'ma lil confused. The headline says "three arrested," then in the article it says, "four people arrested." Then at the end it says "all three have been charged."
