Father, two sons sentenced for meth distribution

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Three family members have all been sentenced to 10 imprisonment for drug trafficking.

Anothony Disabella, 35, James Disabella Jr, 60, and James Disabella III, 36 all from Hazleton pleaded guilty to distributing over 50 grams of pure methamphetamine according to federal documents.

Between August and December of 2022, the Disabellas were involved in a conspiracy to distribute large amounts of methamphetamine. Authorities observed the family distributing at least 500 grams during that time according to a release from the Department of Justice.

All three family members were sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by United States District Court Judge Julia K. Munley.
