Weatherly Police looking to offload 500 Jell-O shots

WEATHERLY, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Weatherly Police Department announced they are looking for a monetary donation in exchange for 500 Jell-O shots.

According to the police department, due to the weather, they will not be having their golf tournament, and Jell-O shots made for the event can not be used.

Officials state they are willing to part ways with the Jell-O shots for a donation to their association to cover the cost of material and products as they will be making them again when a new date for the golf tournament is confirmed.

I think it’s cool if they can get donation ..they already made them for an event they couldn’t have.. was apparently a big one… I don’t know how long Jell-O shots last cuz I’ve only made them on small occasion not in 500 .. but alcohol is legal so I don’t know what everyone is bickering about… if I made 500 Jell-O shots and had to remake them again considering the cost, I would ask if anyone wanted them! Or between the police force and take them home have them at your house or give them out to people so they didn’t go to waste… but then they don’t have money to remake them so it makes sense?? I mean it’s like somebody donating the cost of the ingredients for having actually make them themselves. I see nothing wrong with this!
