The family of Mark Lewellen Biddle recently received word that he passed away from pulmonary fibrosis on Aug. 2, 2022, in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey.
He was born Feb. 27, 1946. Mark grew up in Waynetown and graduated from Sebring High School in Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and his master’s degree from Purdue University.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Philip Biddle of Waynetown; and a great-nephew Heath Adam Biddle.
He is survived by two brothers, Andrew Philip (Karen) and Bryan Glen (Susan) of Crawfordsville; sister Laura Kaye Biddle-Bruckman of Indianapolis; son Mark Bertram; daughter Catina Rene Biddle-Veldman of St. Thomas, Ontario; two grandsons, Cody Biddle of Brook-Alviston, Ontario, and Kaleb Biddle of Edmonton, Alberta; two great-granddaughters, Lillian and Charlotte Biddle; nieces and nephews, Adam Biddle, Anna Biddle-Pratt, Ellen Biddle-Warren, Christina Biddle, Emily Kaye Biddle, Stephanie Bruckman-Castro, Bradley Bruckman, Chloe Bruckman-Purcell, Connor Bruckman and Grace Bruckman; and great nieces and nephews, Aidan, Elyse, Zachary and Olivia Biddle along with Samuel, Elinor, Philip and Adele Pratt, and Kennedy Grace Purcell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Waynetown United Methodist Church in honor and memory of Margie and Phil Biddle.
