HIS DEFENSE ATTORNEY ASKING FOR TWO OUT OF THE FOUR CHARGES TO BE DROPPED. NOW, TAKE A LISTEN TO HER REQUEST TODAY IN COURT. I DID FILE WITH THE COURT A NOTICE OF MOTION AND MOTION TO DISMISS COUNTS ONE AND FOUR. I HAVE PROVIDED A COPY OF THAT TO ATTORNEY NIKOLAI, AS I DID FILE IT LATE YESTERDAY. NOW, ONE ONE OF THOSE COUNTS IS A FELONY CHARGE FOR SECOND DEGREE, RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING SAFETY. THE OTHER A MISDEMEANOR CHARGE FOR ENDANGERING SAFETY AND USING A DANGEROUS WEAPON. THESE CHARGES STEMMING FROM THE APRIL 14TH INCIDENT WHEN ALI WAS SEEN BY WAUKESHA NORTH, STUDENTS HOLDING A LOADED SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLE IN HIS FRONT YARD THAT’S RIGHT NEXT TO THE SCHOOL. NOW, HERE’S WHAT THE PROSECUTION SAID LAST WEEK DURING ALI’S FIRST COURT APPEARANCE. THEY HAD SEEN THIS DEFENDANT OUT IN HIS FRONT YARD, WHICH IS JUST ADJACENT TO NORTH HIGH SCHOOL, WEARING A PILLOWCASE OVER HIS HEAD WITH THE EYES CUT OUT, HOLDING A RIFLE VICTIM. A REPORTED THAT AT ONE POINT THE DEFENDANT HAD THAT RIFLE IN A SHOOTING POSITION. NOW, THE DEFENSE ATTORNEY DID DECLINED TO COMMENT ON CAMERA TODAY. SHE WAIVED THE TIME FOR THE PRELIMINARY HEARING TODAY TO THE NEXT COURT APPEARANCE WHERE A JUDGE WILL HEAR THOSE ARGUMENTS FOR DROPPING THOSE TWO CHARGES. THAT’S GOING TO BE ON JUNE 30TH AT 330.
