More traffic closures in store for Watertown on Wednesday

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – A pair of construction projects will cause road closures Wednesday in the City of Watertown.

Sewer work on Mohawk Street at 8 a.m. caused the street to be closed. City officials stated the project should be finished by the end of the day. Local traffic will be allowed on the street.

The intersection of Winslow Street and Clay Street will also be shut down for the day because of construction. The intersection should re-open for Thursday.

Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes for the duration of these projects.
