Waterbury man arrested for assault

WATERBURY – A Waterbury resident has been arrested for domestic assault after causing physical pain and fear to a family member, police say.

On Thursday, March 23, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Vermont State Police responded to a reported domestic assault in the area of Stowe Street in Waterbury.

After investigation, police say Zachary Brooks was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.

He was later released on conditions.

The Vermont State Police do not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
