Waterbury police investigating ‘swatting call’ targeting Brass Mill Center

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – Waterbury police say they’re investigating a “swatting call” which put the Brass Mill Center into a lockdown Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they received a call around 1 p.m. reporting a possible armed person in the Union Street mall.

Cromwell karate instructor charged with sexual assault

Officers responded and determined there was no threat or danger to the public, however, the mall was placed into a lockdown during the investigation.

As of 2 p.m., the mall was reopen to normal business.
