Monday morning at about 1:30 am, Washington Police Officers took a report of a person attempting to enter a residence, but after finding the door locked, the suspect instead made entry into an unlocked garage and stole cash from an unlocked vehicle. The same suspect also entered another unlocked garage in the same neighborhood, and again items were stolen from an unlocked car. These events occurred on West Madison St in Washington.
