A woman charged in Northwest DC shooting after person hospitalized: police

WASHINGTON (7News) —
A woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly shooting a person in Northwest D.C. last month.

Tyshay Moore, 26, allegedly got into an argument with the victim and shot at them on May 10 at around 9:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Seventh Street Northwest.
Moore then ran away and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital, police said.
Almost a month into the investigation, D.C. police were able to find and arrest Moore. During her arrest, officers recovered her handgun, police said.
Moore was charged with assault with the intent to kill in addition to illegal possession of a firearm.
