WASHINGTON - A 1-year-old who had been missing for nearly two weeks, was found Thursday.
Aliya Payton was located on June 1, according to D.C. police.
The toddler was last seen wearing a onesie with pink shorts in the 3200 block of Buena Vista Terrace in Southeast on Thursday, May 18. But police said they weren't notified she was missing until Wednesday.
Police on Thursday morning said they believed Aliya might be with 20-year-old Diane Terrell, an acquaintance of her mother. Police have yet to provide details on how Aliya was found and where she was located.
