19-Year-Old Dead In D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A teen was shot and killed early yesterday morning. The incident happened at the 100 Block of Forrester Street in Southwest D.C.

19-year-old Adrian Burgess of Northwest, D.C. was identified as the victim.

Officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the location to investigate a reported shooting. Police found Burgess in an alley shortly after 1:30 am, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Despite the efforts by EMS Services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
