Connecticut and Gonzaga were both expected to find success in this year's NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, and they have. The two teams will face off in the Elite Eight for a trip to Houston and the Final Four on the line.

But how each has arrived to this point has been a bit different. UConn has largely throttled its opponents. The closest game to date in the tournament for the Huskies came in the second round, when they beat No. 5 Saint Mary's 70-55. Games against No. 13 Iona in the first round and No. 8 Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen? Those were each decided by at least 23 points.

Gonzaga has had a more challenging road to the Elite Eight. Following a 12-point win against No. 14 Grand Canyon, the Bulldogs edged out No. 6 TCU only by three points — though it was a last-second TCU 3 that kept the game from being a six-point game.

Then, on Thursday, Gonzaga pulled off an impressive comeback against No. 2 UCLA, overcoming a 13-point halftime deficit and eventually winning on a 3-pointer from Julian Strawther with 7.2 seconds left to re-take the lead for good and win 79-76.
