Back in December we learned that Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley was coming to I Street off Franklin Square in the former Toro Toro space.

Located in Washington, D.C. at 1300 I St NW of Franklin Square, Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley is here to serve, amplify, and satisfy the masses of Washington, D.C. with outstanding food and excellent service.

Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley will provide freshly prepared comfort food and our renowned Krafted Kocktails to the Washington, D.C. area. Being the third Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley location, Mr. Kevin Kelley is bringing Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley to Washington, D.C. with the intent to be known as the most phenomenal comfort food restaurant in the country. Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley will offer lunch, dinner and brunch with extensive menus on the weekends in a lively and fun atmosphere for all to enjoy.

The immediate success of Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley is no secret to the restaurant realms of Dallas, Texas and Chicago, Illinois. Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley has a team of knowledgeable chefs who will prepare classic entrees such as customer favorites shrimp and grits, fried chicken and waffles, southern fried catfish, along with fresh lobster tail, Caribbean jerk lamb chops, candied yams, mac and cheese, collard greens and much more. Several of our highly acclaimed Krafted Kocktails will feature black-owned spirits such as D’USSÉ, Uncle Nearest and SweetBeat Vodka.

When asked about proclaiming Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley to be the best comfort food restaurant in America, Mr. Kevin Kelley states “it’s a bold claim but one we are willing to standby. Now it’s important that we come to the nation’s capital to do our best to serve another base of fantastic people.”

“As for the decision to come to Washington D.C., this was an easy decision,” says owner, Mr. Kevin Kelley. “With consistent treks to the nation’s capital and countless requests to bring Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley to the area, logic and emotion said Washington, D.C. is the place to be.”

Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley will be open Monday – Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Located in the former Toro Toro space at 1300 I Street NW, Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley is 7,943 square feet and will seat over 175 people.

The restaurant will feature two full-service bars and one private dining area, named the Asset Lounge that will seat 36.

Architecture for Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley has been completed by Dave Gonzales of DxU Architects of Chicago, Illinois.”
