On Friday, Gray Elementary School and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office recognized a local student for his bravery in saving his family from a house fire in early January.
Eight-year-old Sebastian McGhee was presented with a Certificate of Bravery as well as patches and pins from the sheriff’s department and local fire departments. Sebastian was recognized by his teachers and classmates as well as officials from the sheriff’s office and Washington County Schools during an assembly at Gray Elementary.
