At approximately 8:56 pm Sunday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle upside down in the ditch, and driver stuck in a culvert. The vehicle had been traveling on Highway 92 near Larch Avenue. The driver, Patricia Morris of Keota, was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in stable condition. State roads were contacted for damage to a barrier, and Iowa DNR was contacted for a gas leak into the creek. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Washington Fire Department and the Washington EMS.
