Historic Washington State Park to host ‘Community Life of the Past’ summer day camp

(WASHINGTON, Ark.) – Historic Washington State Park will host “Community Life of the Past” summer day
camp on June 19-23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for children ages 6-12 at the park, 103 Franklin St, Washington.
Registration is $125 per child and includes a daily lunch and supplies. Registration must be made by June 9.
The day camp will feature hands-on interactive activities, including such topics as the basics of the printing
press, the art of the blacksmith trade, 19th-century games and the care of animals. To register, contact Historic

Historic Washington State Park
Historic Washington State Park, located in Washington, Arkansas, is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for
Mondays. The park is a restoration village interpreting the historic Arkansas town in the 19th century. Daily
