SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE, Va. (WFXR) — One angler is showing off his skills at Smith Mountain Lake!
Jim Birch, from Warrenton, caught a Virginia Bass Slam and reeled in three Big Ol’ Fish! Birch says he was fishing with Captian Josh Roop of Shadillac Guide Service when he caught a trophy striped bass, trophy largemouth bass, and trophy smallmouth bass.
Birch says this is the time of the year to catch some Big Ol’ Fish.
