Severe Thunderstorm Warning by NWS
Instruction: For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Franklin, Warren, and Gasconade counties in east central Missouri. The warning is in effect until 3:15 AM CDT. A severe thunderstorm was detected over Hermann, moving east at 40 mph. The storm is expected to produce quarter-size hail, which may cause damage to vehicles. Locations that will be impacted include Washington, Hermann, New Haven, Marthasville, Innsbrook, Treloar, Berger, Holstein, and the Deutschheim Historic Site. The radar indicates a maximum hail size of 1.00 inch and a maximum wind gust of less than 50 mph.

Two major events are scheduled for Warren County this Saturday. The Warrenton Fall Festival begins at noon along Main Street. The free event features a car and motorcycle show. Cars can be registered from 9 a.m. to noon for $25 per vehicle. Judging begins at noon with awards presented at 4 p.m.
Local Judges from Warrenton and Lee's Summit Appointed to Higher Courts by Governor Parson
Governor Mike Parson announced two new judicial appointments in Missouri. The first is the Honorable Michael S. Wright from Warrenton. Wright, currently an associate circuit judge in Warren County, has been appointed to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. He has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Juris Doctor from Washburn University. This appointment fills the vacancy left by Honorable Sherri B. Sullivan's retirement.

Parson names Warren County judge to state appeals court
ST. LOUIS — Michael Wright, an associate circuit judge in Warren County since 2014, was named Friday to the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District by Gov. Mike Parson. The governor chose Wright, a fellow Republican, for the St. Louis-based court from a panel of three nominees recommended by the state Appellate Judicial Commission. He succeeds Judge Sherri Sullivan of St. Louis, who retired last month.
Warren County R-III school officials working to add more SROs
The Warren County R-III school district is working with the cities of Warrenton and Truesdale to make more school resource officers available. A school resource officer, or SRO, is a full commissioned police officer from a city department whose primary function is to make sure everyone is safe at school, superintendent Dr. Gregg Klinginsmith said.
Warren County Residents: New Bridge on Route 94 Now Open, Marking Progress in FARM Bridge Program
The new bridge over Treloar Creek on Missouri Route 94 is now open to traffic. It is located three miles east of Treloar in Warren County. It's the last bridge to be finished under the Fixing Access to Rural Missouri (FARM) Bridge Program in the Northeast District. The Missouri Department of Transportation and Project Director Jeff Gander are pleased with the progress of the design-build program.
