FROM THE SHOP. THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON THE CAMERA BEHIND ME, BREAKING A WINDOW AND TAKING OFF WITH THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN MERCHANDISE. NOW POLICE AND THE OWNERS ARE HOPING YOU RECOGNIZE WHO DID IT JUST BEFORE 230 MONDAY MORNING. SURVEILLANCE VIDEO SHOWS A MASKED MAN ATTEMPTING TO KICK HIS WAY INTO EASY WIRELESS OFF NORTHWEST 39TH EXPRESSWAY. I DIED LAUGHING WHEN HE KICKED THE DOOR AND JUST AND THEN KIND OF LOOKED AT IT LIKE WHAT? IT DIDN’T EVEN MOVE. AND I WAS LIKE, YES, IT HELD THE MOMENTS LATER, HE COMES BACK, THIS TIME WITH A ROCK. THE SUSPECT DASHES THROUGH THE BACK OF THE STORE, GRABBING BOXES OF CELL PHONES AND LAPTOPS, MAKING OUT WITH $2,000 IN MERCHANDISE. WE’RE OUT HERE IN THE COMMUNITY TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE THAT ARE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY WITH FREE PHONES. SO, YEAH, THIS AFFECTS US DRASTICALLY. AND IT WASN’T THE FIRST TIME THE SHOP WAS HIT. WE WERE HIT APPROXIMATELY THREE WEEKS AGO AS WELL. IT’S VERY AGGRAVATING TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH SUCH ILL INTENT. WARR ACRES POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING IF THE TWO BURGLARIES ARE CONNECTED. OFFICERS BELIEVE MONDAY’S CROOK WAS DRIVING A GRAY FORD FUSION WITH A PAPER TAG. I’M HOPING THAT THEY THAT SOMEBODY RECOGNIZES HIM AND CAN IDENTIFY HIM AND TURN HIM IN SO THAT WE CAN STOP THIS FROM OUR BUSINESS AND OTHERS. WHILE NO EMPLOYEES WERE WORKING AT THE TIME, THE MULTIPLE SMASH AND GRABS HAVE CAUSED ANXIETY, FORCING THE SHOP TO REEVALUATE SAFETY MEASURES. I AM LOOKING INTO POSSIBLY INSTALLING BARS, BUT I DON’T OWN THE BUILDING SO THAT’S A COST. I’VE GOT TO SEE IF THAT’S GOING TO BE EFFECTIVE AT $1,000 A POP. I MEAN, IT’S KIND OF WORTH THE INVESTMENT JUST TO KEEP A LITTLE
