Lori Fullbright returns to FLEAS in May
The April meeting was full of fun. The décor was spring, and the underlying theme was the support of our local businesses. The hostesses were Kay Owens, Barbara Johnsen, Brenda Bahr and Iris Harp. They did a lovely job decorating, and the door prizes were full of surprises. In line with the theme, the prizes were colorful, insulated, large, zippered tote bags.
Green named Coach of the Year
Williams wins Sue Ann Saltsman Award; Mills wins Junior Golding Award; Noriega /Watkins wins Paul & Lucille Bell Scholarship. The Eufaula All-Sports Banquet took place on Monday and was very entertaining and exciting. Eufaula head Softball coach Ryan Green was named the Eufaula Indian Journal Coach of the Year. Green led the Lady Ironhead fast-pitch team to the school’s first ever State tournament and finished with a 23-13 record and guided Eufaula to a 19-9-1 record in slow-pitch.
