The loss snaps their 18-game winning streak in state tournament games, the second longest in Oklahoma history. The Rebels had previously won six-straight 2A spring titles.

Durant police officer placed on leave after arrest
DURANT, Okla. (KXII) - Durant Police have confirmed that an officer is on administrative leave after he was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. Records show that Joseph Graham, 24, was arrested on March 28th, and released the same day. A misdemeanor DUI charge was filed three weeks later.
Roosevelt Bridge reopens after accident
(KTEN) — The Roosevelt Memorial Bridge over Lake Texoma was closed to traffic through much of the day Wednesday after an early-morning accident. The front end of an 18-wheeler was hanging off the bridge after the crash around 3 a.m. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said that truck was attempting to avoid colliding with another vehicle when it jackknifed and crashed through a guardrail. Part of the cab of the truck was left hanging over edge of the bridge, but no one was hurt.
A $4 million plan to fix Ada's 'crazy corner'
ADA, Okla. (KTEN) — Plans to fix Ada's "crazy corner" intersection are one step closer to realization. The Chickasaw Nation, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the City of Ada will fund a project to re-design the confluence of North Mississippi Avenue, East Arlington Street and a railroad crossing.
Five student-athletes sign at Durant
DURANT, Okla. (KXII) - Durant held a huge signing day that produced five student-athletes to the college ranks. Laila Ahmed signed to run track at Oklahoma Christian. Aiden Sager is headed to East Central to run track for the Tigers. Zoe James will take her cross country game down the road to Murray State College.

DURANT, Oklahoma (KTEN)- In Durant, three Lion athletes are going to have the state of Oklahoma well covered as they continue their running careers. Aiden Sager signed with East Central University track and field. Laila Ahmed is headed to Oklahoma Christian University for track and field too. She is a two-time high jump state champion. And lastly, Zoe Jones will be going to Murray State College for cross-country.
