(Madera, CA) Ethan Thomas was the lone representative of the Mt. San Antonio College Men's Golf team at the 2023 California Community College Athletic Association State Championship held at Dragonfly Golf Club in Madera on Sunday and Monday, May 14-15. Thomas represented well with a two-round 140 on the par-73 course, tying for third in the individual competition and earning him All-State status. On the second day of play, Thomas carded a six-under-par 67, tying the tournament's single-round low score attained by three others—Reedley College's Elias Pettersson, Napa Valley College's A.J. Tomasini, and Reedley's Chase Bird.

The two-day competition saw an impressive 55 rounds of par or better scores out of 120 rounds from 60 golfers. Reedley College earned the team title.

This concludes the Mounties' 2023 season. Tune in early in 2024 for another exciting season.
