WALDRON, Ark. — According to the Arkansas State Police (ASP), a crash on Highway 71 ended in the death of Joshua Spaeth, 38, of Waldron. ASP reports that while traveling north on Highway 71, Spaeth did not "maintain proper distance" from the car in front of him, and died in a collision with the back of that car.

Morris, IL – A tragic fire in a camper trailer at Love’s Truck Stop on Brisbin Road claimed the lives of two Arkansas residents early Wednesday. The Grundy County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 52-year-old William Davis and a 31-year-old from Mena, Arkansas. The incident, reported at approximately 3 a.m., is under investigation by the Morris Fire and Police Departments, the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office, and MABAS Division 15 Fire Investigators.
