Homicide investigation in Waldorf after 2 men dead

Authorities are on the scene of a homicide investigation in the parking lot of a Charles County apartment complex after two men were killed Friday.

Investigators were called to Lake Drive in Waldorf Friday around 7:30 a.m.

They say they responded for reports of shots fired and found a man dead from gunshot wounds in the parking lot. A second man arrived at a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the two are connected.
