The Parkside Rams capture the 2023 2A State Title

The Baseball Team Win School's First State Title

WALDORF, MD — The Parkside Rams beat The Patuxent Panthers 3-1 to capture the MPSSAA 2A Baseball State Title. Pitcher Aiden Brinsfield was tasked to bring home the hardware and he delivered with a complete game, allowing just four hits and twelve punchouts. The Rams finish the season 20-4-1 after winning their first state title in program history.

“This was my last game ever. I had to leave it all out there, everything I had. That last out meant everything to me. I went into that last inning with 12 pitches left and I knew I had to work well, I just wanted to finish the game. Parkside never won a state championship in baseball before. we’ve been working all year and our mentality has been one more game. one more game. We finally got the last game. We did it,” Brinsfield said.
