Charles County officers were called to an apartment shooting in Waldorf early Monday morning, according to the agency. The shooting appears to be an isolated incident, authorities said.

Officers responded to the 4100 block of Falcon Place before 7 a.m. One man was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, the agency said.
