    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity April 21 - May 18. 

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    April 21

    Derek Tracy, 21, of Brooks, was issued summonses for failure to give notice of a property damage crash by quickest means and failure to notify owner of a property damage crash on Morey Hill Road in Morrill.. 

    April 27

    Brian Moore, 64, of Liberty, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Route 3 in Liberty.

    April 28

    Michael Ames, 37, of Belfast, was arrested for unlawful trafficking of a scheduled drug and violation of bail on Crocker Road in Belfast. 

    Samantha Reed, 33, of Burnham, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 7 in Brooks. 

    May 10

    James A. Maynard Sr., 33, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating after suspension on Veterans Highway in Brooks.
