WAIANAE, Hawaii (KITV4) -- Honolulu Police are looking for one of two suspects who reportedly shot at a man in Waianae, Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened just before 4 p.m. near Lualualei Homestead Road. According to investigators, two suspects confronted the victim and brandished guns. The victim ran off as the suspects shot at him. Fortunately, the victim managed to get away without being hit.
Police officers responded and found one of the suspects a short distance away from the original scene. That suspect, later identified as 59-year-old Bruce Rios, was arrested without incident.
The second suspect fled the scene in a car and has not been found. That person has not been identified.
Investigators have not said what prompted the confrontation nor have they said if the victim knew his attackers.
This case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to cal Honolulu Police immediately.
