The Frattallone’s Hardware & Garden store in Waconia held a grand opening event April 20-21. The Waconia location is the 22nd Frattallone’s location in the Twin Cities metro area.

“The Waconia location was an existing hardware store with an already great customer base and has since proved to be an outstanding location for the Frattallone’s family of stores,” said Mike Frattallone, company owner. “Since purchasing in February of 2023, we have made a number of additions, including selling live plants, that customers have loved. We are thrilled to be part of this growing community!”

At the grand opening events, the first 100 people through the door each day received a swag bucket, and free mini-doughnuts were provided by MinneDonut Company.

As another token of appreciation for their community, Frattallone’s Hardware and Garden in Waconia will round up all sales from April 15 – 30 to benefit Ridgeview Foundation.

Founded in 1978, Ridgeview Foundation, an independent and nonprofit organization, has made an indelible impact by helping Ridgeview deliver on its mission to enhance the health of the people it serves by creating a culture that nurtures the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

Frattallone’s has a long history of supporting charities for children, such as this one, through round up and other types of campaigns. Frattallone’s wants to add a local feel/support to what they do. The store manager, David Byrd, is a member of the Waconia Chamber of Commerce, as is Ridgeview Foundation, and it is important to Frattallone’s to support local, especially an organization doing the great work Ridgeview is doing. Frattallone’s is neighbors helping neighbors, according to the company.

Since 1975, Frattallone’s Hardware & Garden Centers have been serving the Twin Cities area. There are now 22 locations in the Twin Cities metro area, including Andover, Arden Hills, Blaine, Bloomington, Burnsville, Circle Pines, Columbia Heights, Eden Prairie, Mahtomedi, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, New Hope, St. Paul, St. Louis Park, White Bear Lake, Waconia, and Woodbury. For more information, visit www.frattallones.com or call 651-288-8888.

The Waconia location is located off of Hwy. 5.
