Canadian Pro Makes His First Trip To Virgin, Utah

Virgin, Utah is known to many as the cultural center of freeride. Many other places have big jumps and technical lines, but nowhere is on the same level in terms of available terrain.

Canadian freerider Steve Vanderhoek just made the trip down to Utah for the first time. Watch him drop a big chute below.

In this video, Steven tees up a big loose dirt chute like it is nothing.

Though he has not been to Virgin before, Steve is no stranger to riding terrifyingly steep lines. In fact, Vanderhoek was the builder and first rider of the incredibly gnarly Busted Axe Would Rock Roll. Watch him ride the immense feature below.

It is fitting that Steve makes the trek down to Utah to explore the land of Red Bull Rampage.
