At 8:03 p.m., the Vilas County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting the accident on Sundstein Road, where a 2004 GMC Yukon had struck a tree. A 43-year-old Lac du Flambeau man was in Vilas County Circuit Court last week facing the felony charges of possession of heroin with intent (class D, greater than 10-50 grams) and possession of methamphetamine (class I). Randy J. Burgess appeared in court Nov. 6 for an adjourned initial appearance.
