TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County Capital Improvement Board is another step closer to fully owning the historic Indiana Theatre.
According to Vigo County Commissioner Chris Switzer, the CIB voted Wednesday to start the process of acquiring the building.
Greg Gibson donated the Indiana Theatre to the CIB back in February. KJB Theaters will manage all of the daily operations under the CIB’s leadership.
Switzer said the CIB should own the theatre by May, and then they will start the process of repairing whatever needs necessary.
