My name is Jeremy Cruz. I'm an 18 year old multi-species angler from PA traveling the world with a camera and fishing rod in hand. Follow me on my journey as I dedicate my life to catching as many fish species as possible.
The sharks are here! A lot of people don't know this, but sharks live very close to the shore! In Maryland, where I was fishing, you can catch sharks up to 10 foot long and 400 pounds simply by casting cut bait off the surf. These sharks are essentially harmless and have had next to no reported attacks on humans ever. On this trip, we managed to land a few up to 8' and 250 pounds. They were all released safely with a tag!
Everyone knows about the spotted lanternfly problem these days in the Lehigh Valley and eastern Pennsylvania. But not many people know about a slight benefit these little insects provide: bait. Yep, bait. In this video, I collect a few of these invasives and take them to a local creek to see how the fish like them!
My friend Cooper and I ventured to one of the largest lakes in Pennsylvania for some spring smallmouth bass! The fish are now pushed up shallow, getting ready for the spawn which should happen in a few weeks. Using ned rigs, we managed to put a few nice fish in the boat!
In this video, I target big wild browns in a creek that's often overlooked by most. It's quite literally in the middle of a neighborhood and has the appearance of a "I have no fish stream", but it's quite the opposite!
A few days ago, I ventured up to one of my favorite delayed harvest streams in northeastern Pennsylvania for some trout fishing! It had just been stocked, so the fishing was amazing! I even got lucky enough to land one of these beautiful Golden Rainbow Trout, also known as Palomino Trout.
