Alabama Champion School Resource Officer
Birmingham Police Officer Lane Harper wears many hats. He is a school resource officer at Dupuy Alternative School. He runs the Power of Life Foundation. And he teaches martial arts around the country to police to help them know how to better deescalate potentially violent situations. The students at the school say he encourages them to be the best they can be. He also helps them work to achieve their dreams. Through his foundation he helps to provide funds for utilities, food, clothes and shoes for those in need. At Christmas he has presents for needy children. For Thanksgiving, he has given away five-hundred turkey complete with fixings. He is amazing and tireless. His motto is to treat others as you would have them treat you. His talents are endless. He is also in two movies which will debut at a local theater in Birmingham soon. Please take time to get to know Officer Lane Harper. You will be inspired.
