At least one person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Verona early Saturday morning, with first responders reporting two other crashes nearby within a three-hour span. Allegheny County dispatch confirms a transport from the 7100 block of Shannon Road. Penn Hills No. 7 Volunteer Fire Company said on its Facebook page that a rollover crash occurred at this location. The department said additional crashes occurred on the 100 block of Mill Road in Verona and on the 8900 block of Frankstown Road in Penn Hills. The Frankstown Road crash saw a car going into the front of a house.
