VERONA, N.D. (NDHP) – The North Dakota State Patrol has released the name of a man who died after a rock from a semi-trailer went through the windshield of the pickup he was driving north of Verona late last month.

The victim was 58-year-old Marlin Kiser of Valley City.

The rock came from a semi with a belly dump trailer. According to the State Patrol, the semi driver released its load of rock onto State Highway 1.
