Monday, May 22
10:53 a.m. - Officers assisted a parole agent in locating a parolee. The subject was located and arrested for a parole violation.
9:11 p.m. - Officers were advised of a stolen credit card being used. After an investigation, a subject was arrested for identity theft.
Tuesday, May 23
1:46 a.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation. The driver was arrested for driving while impaired.
10:46 a.m. - Officers conducted an injury accident investigation. One driver was issued a citation.
3:13 p.m. - Officers assisted Court Services with a residence check.
6:42 p.m. - Officers handled a walk-in report about a hit and run accident involving property damage. This case is still under investigation.
10:03 p.m. - Officers were called to a noise complaint. The complaint was unfounded.
11:09 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of an assault and intentional damage to property. A subject drove a vehicle into the porch of a residence while two other subjects were standing on the porch.
Wednesday, May 24
12:30 a.m. - Officers were waved down regarding an overly intoxicated subject. The subject was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
6:55 p.m. - Officers took a report regarding stolen recycling bins. This incident is under investigation.
Thursday, May 25
12:25 p.m. - An officer conducted a welfare check on a subject. The subject was seeking medical treatment in another city and not in need of assistance.
2:52 p.m. - An officer responded to a reported driving complaint. The officer located the vehicle in question and the complaint was unfounded.
4:36 p.m. - An officer responded to a domestic dispute between two subjects. The dispute was determined to be verbal and the officer helped mediate the situation.
7:33 p.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding. The officer cited the driver for failing to wear a seatbelt and failing to secure the child passengers.
Friday, May 26
2:18 p.m. - An officer responded to an accident without injuries in a business parking lot, and helped the drivers exchange information.
7:17 p.m. - An officer responded to a complaint of a subject that urinated on a sidewalk in a residential neighborhood. The subject was cited for public urination.
Saturday, May 27
8:12 a.m. - Officers attempted to locate a subject who had a warrant for their arrest. The officers learned the subject was no longer in Vermillion.
10:20 a.m. - An officer conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for speeding. The driver was cited.
